NUTHIN' DOIN'

Well, life with me has been boring to say the least lately. I think I have entered in what we New Englanders like to call, "The Winter Doldrums". It is that time when the hullaballoo of the holidays is over and there is the usual let down. Yes, I am in the doldrums. Nothing doing, nothing new, nothing exciting. What can I say???? Dear son on the other hand is all excited; he got his permit to drive this week. (I'm not so excited as I'm sure you can all understand) This is one of those "life" events for him and while I outwardly try to express joy and happiness for him, I am secretly a nervous nelly! And Jim and I are teaching him to drive (no driving classes for him!) so I am doubly cuckoo over the whole thing! Jim and I have a bet going though. We bet that eachother would be the first to yell when Shane was behind the wheel! So, I have to keep my cool because I WANT that $20.00!!! Not for the money you understand, but for the principle of the thing! Yay Shane! (Somebody pass the Valium please!)
