THE LUCK OF THE IRISH

On St. Patty's Day, Paige missed school to attend a series of dance performances with Damhsa Irish Dance Studio. These girls work so hard and dance from sun up to about 9:00 PM! We visited schools, non-profit organizations, the local malls and Irish pubs. Why do we drag our children place to place, racing the clock to the next performance for 12 hours all in one day????? It is for the love of the dance. Plain and simple. The moms are just as bedraggled as the girls!And when the day is done, they are exhausted, their feet and calves ache, they are hungry and worn out! But you would never know it when you see them dance! They are like fairies gliding across the floor! It is a sight to behold when they take the floor with their Irish curls and costumes! I am so very proud of you Paige! You are an amazing talent and wonderful dancer. I have seen you grow from tiny ballerina, to tap dancer, to jazz dancer and now you are an awesome Step dancer!!!! Be proud of yourself! You rock!
