VBB

I have been a VBB! What is a VBB you ask???? A VBB is ....A VERY BAD BLOGGER! I usually update once a week and sometimes if i have a lot to say, I will update more often than that. But with summer here and the kids needing rides hither and yon, the extra laundry, the enourmous amount of dirty towels and extra snacks for neighborhood kids, well, there just hasn't been a whole lot of time to sit quietly and blog. I also have had almost no time to do any knitting to speak of. A tiny row here, a short swatch of rows there but that is about as far as I've gotten. POO! I am working on another baby sweater exactly like the one a few posts back, another pair of boot socks exactly like the ones I made for Jim a few months ago, my C & J squares and that is about it. Nothing too exciting but summer is not the time for me to get deeply involved in a project.

Here is the lovely Paige with her new arm ensemble! Yes, she managed to get through the first 10 1/2 years of her precious little life without breaking a bone but during the last week of school, she tripped and fell and used her thumb to break her fall. Poor little girl! Yesterday she was chewing a tootsie roll and pulled out one of her baby molars! she has had it tough lately but at least the cast is waterproof so she can use the pool! An still she smiles!!! What a trooper!
