SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW
I have been very depressed and down lately. Last Friday, our precious "Champlin" was taken from us much too soon. He was only 6 and such a great big cuddly guy. Paige discovered him when he was only 8 weeks old down at the beach hidden in some rocks. I took him home and he has been with us ever since. He got his name (Champlin) because we had been eating at "Champlin's" the restaurant when we found him. He was always so good! Never bothered a soul; just wanted to be fed and kept warm at night. Anyway, he started acting funny on Sunday and by Friday, we had to put him to sleep. He was in renal failure. The doctor said that it was something that had developed over a long period of time and without displaying any symptoms, there was nothing we could have done about it. We are all heartbroken but are comforted to know that he isn't suffering any more.

Thank you Sarah and Isa. We miss him everyday and think of him so often. It just isn;t the same around here without him.
