"JIMMY THE STITCH"

So, Jim came home over the weekend from his week in Maine! He saw a whole lot of moose and deer and said that it was snowing a couple of days up there! He enjoyed the scenery as well and accomplished a lot for the guy he was working for.

Did I ever mention that my hubby is a former Marine? He never saw combat but was actively with the Marines b4 we met. Did I ever mention that while he fired a lot of guns in his life with the Marine's that he never fired an "elephant" gun? So, the caretaker for the house that hubby and 4 other guys were working for has this "elephant" gun. I don't know anything about guns but an "elephant" gun sounds mighty big. Did I ever mention that my hubby is the"I'll try anything once kind of guy"???? Yep, you guessed it. Old Jim just couldn't resist the target practice when it involved an "elephant" gun. Several of the guys fired it first and had a rousing "good old boy" time for themselves and next it was darling "should have known better" hubby's turn. He lines that scope up right at that target just so and .........WHAM! The gun fired and the force of the blast slammed the scope right into his eye! Stupid, stupid man!!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?????? He drops the gun and grabs his eye and there is blood flying all over the place and he is literally holding his eyebrow in the palm of his hand! The caretaker "rushes" him 30 miles to the "nearest" medical facility who promptly tell him,"oh no, we can't touch that. You need a plastic surgeon another 50 miles down".Well, the poor "he-man" has got his eyebrow flapping in the breeze and managed to beg the attending into stitching it up for him and so here he is. Meet my husband "Jimmy the Stitch". He is currently on home confinement, not to be out of my sight unless he is accompied by one of 2 of his parole officers who happen to be my 2 kids because they at least know better than their father! HMPF! He is also awaiting word on whether he will be chosen for the next remake of the "godfather" because he heard they were looking for someone with a cathcy name who is not afraid to use an "elephant gun! UGH! MEN!
