PETALS 'N WAFFLES!
Here is the last sweater that I made for my niece who is expecting a girl in June! It is a petal sweater from a pattern book that I can't remember the name of right now! DUH! Then............I remembered the "Petal Hat" pattern on the web somewhere (don't remember where that is either! Double DUH!) and thought..........What a perfect match! So, we have the petal hat and sweater in purple! Isn't it great when you can find bits and pieces of things and match them together!

Now here is a home-made waffle by me! Yes indeed! I got out my moms 1950's waffle iron that weighs a ton and whipped these up for the kids for breakfast one day! YUMMMMMMEEEEEEE! I topped 'em with strawberries and whipped cream! Delicious!
Can you imagine that this old thing still works??????? Oh my, and the waffles are THE BEST!!! The grid is nicely seasoned after all these years and they are just soooooo delicious! My mom can't believe that this iron is still alive and kicking but alas, it certainly is and we are soooo happy to have it!
