IT'S A MATCH!

Here is the matching hat and booties to the pink charity blanket below. The booties are designed so that you don't need to tie them on to stay on little ones feet!

TA-DA!!

Here is the pink blanket that I finally finished for the Childrens Hospital. The pink is just a double stranded worsted pounder and the purple flowers are done in Velvet Spun. The pattern is from the Fall 2005 Knit-It Magazine. I am working on a pair of matching booties and hat too.

THEY'RE BAAAAACCCKK!

Ok, so the turkeys are back again.............ON MY ROOF!!!!!!!!!!! Now, this is getting a bit silly. I can see them hanging around spreading their holiday cheer on the day b4 Thanksgiving. And I can understand them foraging my garbage on garbage day, but landing on my roof makes me feel like I'm being invaded. There were 5 of them up there and they are bigger than my dogs! Good god, you don't think they were looking for their next meal do you????????? It is a good thing I NEVER the smallest dog out in the yard by herself. I can see the whole OZ monkey thing playing b4 my eyes right now! OHHHH! What a horrible, horrible thought!

BABYS READY!!!!!

Here are the baby Ugg Booties for my sons teacher. I am thrilled with the booties but the hat doesn't excite me as much. Maybe if I could see it on a baby, that would help!

GENTLE WAVES

Here are another pair of slippers that my mom requested. Notice the cute little tassles! I also finished my Gentle Waves Chevron Chenille Afghan. I LOVE this pattern! Sooo EZ! It is very soft and warm too!

THIS AN' THAT

Well, the kids were supposed to return to school after their x-mas holiday today but the forecast called for a big Noreaster' that in Warwick at least, never happened. Figures! These weather people are the only ones I know who make an obscene amount of money to NOT do their correctly! HMMMMPHFFF!

On an exciting note, I have finally learned how to insert a name to a post and direct the reader to the person I am talking about!!!! DUH!!! What a dope I am! THANK YOU APRIL!!!!!! For showing this old lady some real computer savyness!!!

Finally, my excitement continues with Secret Pal 7 Yes-sur-ree people!! It doesn't take much to get me excited these days! But this is truly exciting beyond my wildest dreams!!! I have joined this lovely group of very special people and I just can not wait to start spoiling my secret pal!!!!!
